Sarah Chaney grew up in Waterville, Ohio, loving music and theatre from an early age.

When she was four or five, she watched her father perform in a community theatre musical. Kiss Me, Kate? Finian's Rainbow?

She turned to her mother with complete certainty: "I want to do that."

Her father, it turned out, had once been recruited to Juilliard for opera at sixteen and turned it down to play college football, a path later cut short by injury. It was through him that she first found the stage.

She earned a degree in Theatre and Political Science from Miami University, then trained in New York at the Maggie Flanigan Meisner program. She built her career performing Off Broadway, on national tours, in regional theatre, on cruise ships, and fronting her rock band, I Like Orange. Now based in Los Angeles, she works across theatre, film, television, commercials, music, and modeling.

Sarah is drawn to character driven stories and work that fosters empathy and expands representation. Alongside her longtime creative partner Heather Olt, she co founded 6 With Heels Productions, a female centric production company dedicated to elevating women's voices and championing meaningful representation both on screen and behind it.
